It has been a long time since I have updated this super fun blog, but it hasn't been without good reason. For one, I don't live in Idaho anymore...so I might need to change the name on this blog, and for two...I have been so hyped up to play softball with a few select members of the clique, that I can barely stand it.
I missed last week's games because I was in Disneyland with my family, but this Monday I made my appearance at the park. I showed up on my sweet motorcycle, and let the fans know I meant business. I showed up a bit early, but luckily Tikes was there to snap a sweet photo of me that will probably be my profile picture on Facebook and Twitter from now on.
I won't go into exactly what happened during the games, because it's really not important. What is important is that everyone has fun, and the everybody gets to play. I for one, am against the fact that they actually keep score because then someone has to lose. I just wanted to scream "We're all winners!" at the end of the first game when we lost, but I held it in. I thought I could reach a few more people with this blog anyway.
The highlight for me was probably the peaceful walk from the parking lot into the ball park. I was able to identify 11 different species of flowers, shrubbery, and trees. I was also able to map out 7 different constellations from the dugout which was quite impressive on a somewhat cloudy night. I really think I impressed my team with my softball skills too, I just wish they would let me drive my scooter around the bases.
